Safety in the Ahr Valley

After a tour of the Government Bunker Documentation Center in Ahrweiler, Eveline Lemke, author of the book *Mit Sicherheit Ahrtal*, Heike Hollunder, the museum director of the documentation center, and Gunnar Kreidl from the Fire and Disaster Protection Office of the City of Bad Neuenahr-Ahrweiler to a discussion. Various concepts exist for ensuring civil protection, including the so-called “lighthouses,” which—unlike the bunker—are intended to be visible to everyone.
